Improvements Galore

One of the amazing talents of Dad and Kevin was showcased when they 'ducted' the house.

They also built cabinets and installed a sink and countertop in the utility room. (These photo merely show the work in progress.)

Geothermal trenches dug

Yes we did have a yard, but for the sake of heat...

Big machines are very interesting.

Geothermal Heat

After 5 years without heat, we finally got it done!

This may seem like a strange heating system, it is.

Giant trenches were dug

Thankfully not by hand!

Each of these 3 trenches contains 1 loop of pipe filled with water, all coming back to the above picture. Then they travel through the porch roof into the utility room where the heat is extracted out of the water.

Now we are warm! YIPEEE!

I think a giant mole invade our land!

Please notice the beautiful raspberries.

With all these trenches we could fight World War 3!
