WOOD STOVE! HEAT!!!!

We finally have a wood stove!!! Heat is wonderful! I am very grateful to God that we got to experience living without it for a while because you really don't realize what a blessing it is until you don't have it any more! We are very grateful, warm, and think it is such a novelty. =)
The surface is so large on top of the stove that we can cook on it... it works great for soups! Posted by Picasa

Sheltered Concrete

So we came up with a solution to all the rain. We tarped the paths and porches so the finishers could smooth the wet concrete in all dryness. Did you see the picture of rain-splattered, hole-poked, wet concrete in the last post? All glory to God! We now have smooth dry concrete with no noticeable rain damage! Posted by Picasa

Pouring Concrete

The day we were set to pour concrete, it was beautiful outside at 6am, 7am, then after it was poured, the water gushed forth from the skies!

Moving Sand for Porches

We moved more sand for our front and back porches, and walk-ways to them. We are very happy to have wonderful, large porches and cannot wait for the endless hospitality and ministry opportunities! Posted by Picasa
